For many years it has been a time consuming process to maintain the proper overlap when installing wrap onto a set of headers.  A few years ago, a guideline stripe was added to natural header wrap to provide a visual marker, so that the installer had something to go by.  However, a marker stripe could not be added to colored tapes due to the stripe being lost in the coloring process.

In order to provide a visual marker, on all colors of header wrap, we are introducing W-Wrap.  This new material has a W-shape woven into the fiberglass itself.  The W is woven in such a way that the bottom points are approximately 1/4” in from the outer edges and the center of the W is in the centerline of the tape.  This pattern is unaffected by the coloring process and remains visible.
